I am a freelance translator offering translation and interpreting services for the language combination German—Japanese. My focus is on technical subjects, especially in the areas of medical technology and engineering. Conscious that the quality of my work has serious implications on the safety and usability of my customers' products, I am carefully researching the respective specialist areas putting particular emphasis on accuracy, consistency, and terminology.
As a sworn translator, I am providing qualified translations of official documents.
In 2009, I achieved the diploma degree in translation (Japanese—German and Chinese—German) at the University of Bonn. Since 2012, I am accredited as the first sworn translator for German—Japanese in Niedersachsen according to the revised version of § 9 Nds. AGGVG. I am a member of the Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators (BDÜ) since 2009.
